To start the Fair Riley who is a member of the student council got to be on the Mckinley Float. He had fun squrting people with water, but was a little sad he didn't get to watch the parade and get lots of candy. Lucky for him Adam got enough for the both them and shared with Riley.
Riley got blue ribbons on both his chocolate chip cookies and chocolate chip muffins
He got blue on his tye-dye shirt
He got red on his K'nex rocket ship
He was so exicted to see he got State Fair and blue on his paper mache mountain model. He really wanted a mountain he could set up his Lego guys on so he molded some chicken wire and covered it with paper mache glued on rocks and fake trees. By the way on the other side is a waterfall and there is also a cave.

Jesse got blue on her beaded earings
She got blue on her balloon flip flops
She got blue on her balloon flip flops
She got red on her chocolate chip muffins (same batch that Riley got blue) and blue on her chocolate chip cookies.
She got blue on her P.J. bottoms she sewed all by herself. She loves to wear them.
Both kids got $12.00 in premiums. They get so excited to go and see their projects displayed at the Fair and see what ribbons they earned.
It is fun for me to be able to teach them and work on the projects with them. Look forward to more projects next summer.

WOW! I didn't even know that you could enter so many different things in the fair. I think we need to venture past the animals next year :) Good job guys!
That is so awesome! It makes my $3 sound very measly... (Maybe I should enter more things!) Great job Jesse and Riley!
