What do you learn in 4th Grade?

Riley has been learning about important people in Utah History (Brigham Young, Jim Bridger, Jedediah Smith etc.) His assignment was to pick a person then write a one page report about them. Then make a poster and dress up like that person for the wax museum. Parents were invited to the class, the kids stood still like wax statues until there buttons were pushed then they would come alive and tell about who they were.

Riley choose Jedediah Smith because he liked the story of Jedediah being attack by a bear were he got the scar on his face that he was well known for having. Jedediah was an explorer, mountain man, and fur trader. He was the first to explore Utah from north to south and east to west.
Alot of the kids chose Jedediah Smith so we heard all about him several times.
Good Job Riley love the hat!
